Editorial Policy
RecipePool is being rebuilt around a smaller, stronger public catalog. Recipes now remain public only when they clear an editorial review for image relevance, instruction clarity, ingredient fit, and page quality. Pages that do not meet that standard are removed from the live catalog until they can be improved.
Recipe Development
Our recipe pages draw from culinary references, established cooking techniques, and practical home-cooking constraints. The goal is to make each page useful on its own: clear quantities, organized steps, relevant notes, and honest context about what the page has and has not yet been updated to include.
Review Standards
Public recipes are reviewed for duplicate or mismatched imagery, thin generic copy, unclear instructions, incomplete ingredient context, and boilerplate FAQs. We prioritize recipe-specific notes and remove pages from the public catalog when they cannot demonstrate enough helpful value yet.
Ingredient Integrity
We aim to list ingredients with practical measurements and clear preparation notes. Brand references are used only when the choice materially affects the result. Optional ingredients, substitutions, and pantry notes should help the recipe, not inflate the page.
Nutritional Information
When we provide nutritional information, it is calculated using reliable nutritional databases and is presented as an approximate guide per serving. Values may vary based on specific ingredient brands, substitutions, and preparation methods. We clearly label nutritional data as estimates and encourage readers with specific dietary needs to consult a qualified professional.
Corrections and Updates
We take accuracy seriously. If we discover an error in a published recipe, or if a reader brings one to our attention, we investigate and issue a correction. Updated recipes display the date of the most recent revision or editorial review.
Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently from monetization. Product and affiliate content is being de-emphasized during this rebuild, and any remaining product links are disclosed separately. Recipe visibility is based on editorial quality signals, not on commercial opportunity.
