Editorial Standards
Who publishes RecipePool
All recipes and guides are published under the RecipePool Editorial Team byline. The team is not a set of named individual cooks, and we do not display personal biographies, photographs or credentials. We also do not say that a recipe was personally cooked or tested by any named person.
What every recipe should contain
- An ingredient list with quantities.
- Numbered steps that include timing and doneness cues where they matter.
- Storage and substitution notes.
- Nutrition information, which is an estimate calculated from the ingredient list, not a laboratory analysis, and not medical advice.
Pages that do not meet this standard are kept out of search indexes and the sitemap until they are improved.
Cuisine desks
Some pages group recipes by topic, such as Italian and pasta or Mexican and Latin American cooking. These “desks” are only organizational labels for the same editorial team, not people.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, report it through our contact page. We review reports and update the page when something is wrong.
Advertising and affiliate links
Advertising and affiliate links never change what a recipe says. See the About page for the full disclosure.
